"It is not that we have a short time to live, but that we waste much of it."

— Seneca, Roman Stoic philosopher (1st century)

Asterolabs starts from that same unease. From noticing that brilliant people lose hours of their day to work technology could handle in silence. Finding a clause in stacks of documents. Re-reading the same 200-page contract. Repeating what has already been said, written, explained.

We believe technology should work behind the scenes — no noise, no friction — so you can spend your day with more calm, more focus, and more time for what actually matters.

People, helped by technology

Asterolabs builds technology that gives people back their time and peace of mind. We do not build to replace the human — we build to free them from what is repetitive, mechanical and draining, and to protect what they have already built. We automate the operation that swallows hours, we check the security of the app that went live without a review, we organize the documents nobody can find. So you can decide, analyze and create — instead of typing, searching and worrying.

Our measure of success is simple: you, with more time and fewer screens.

What we build

Automation + AI

Custom automation, built to fit

We automate the manual, repetitive parts of your operation — pulling data out of documents, wiring systems together, reports and alerts — with AI where it earns its place. We map it, build it, and run it; you just watch the hours come back.

Cybersecurity

We find the gaps before an attacker does

Security review for apps and sites — including the ones built with AI. Vulnerability checks, authorized simulated attacks with written permission, and ongoing monitoring, always with a plain-English report: what is exposed and what to fix first.

How we got here

The idea

A frustration that became a practice

We kept seeing the same pattern: skilled people losing hours a day to work that software should handle quietly. Copying data between systems, hunting for a clause buried in a 200-page contract, answering the same questions over and over. And a second gap right beside it — more and more software shipping fast, often built with AI, going live without anyone checking whether it was safe. The question that stuck: what if technology could take that weight off, without losing the human judgment that actually matters?

Our approach

Build on what you already have

We do not force anyone onto a new platform. We build around the tools a business already runs — the CRM, the inbox, the docs, the spreadsheets, the APIs. When we use AI, it works from your own material and it does not invent answers. When we write software, it is meant to be defensible from the first line, not hardened as an afterthought. The principle never changes: less noise, more usefulness.

Two services, one discipline

The engineering behind both

The same craft that makes an automation reliable is what makes a system hard to break into. So we do two things and go deep on both: custom automation with AI for operations that lose hours to repetitive work, and hands-on security review for the apps, cloud and AI systems a business depends on — including the ones built fast that never got a second look. Same engineers, same standards, either side of the work.

Where we are headed

Small and senior, on purpose

We are in no rush to be big. We are in a rush to be useful. Every new capability faces one question: does this give someone their time back, or make what they built safer? If the answer is no, it does not ship. We keep the team small, listen closely, and iterate fast. Our clients are not rows in a dashboard — they are the people who got an afternoon back, and the ones who found the hole before an attacker did.

What we believe

Clarity above all

We speak plainly. Visible pricing, explicit limits, no fine print. If something does not work, we say so. If a plan does not make sense for you, we say that too.

Time is the most valuable resource

We do not build features to impress. We build to give back minutes, hours, weeks. If it does not save someone real time, it does not go in.

Your data is yours

We do not sell data. We do not train AI on your documents. We work with least privilege, keep nothing we do not need, and set clear boundaries on what we can touch. Privacy is not an extra — it is the default.

Built to last

We do not cut corners on the engineering. Documented code, monitoring, automated tests, and review. We would rather ship one feature less than ship something fragile.

How we look after the people we work with

Empathy before the solution

Every client has a different context. Before proposing any change, we listen. We learn the pace, the size, the real pain — and only then suggest a path.

Support from people, not a bot

When you need help, you talk to a real person — the senior engineers doing the work. We answer fast, straight, and without a script. If the problem is ours, we own it.

Constant evolution

Every piece of feedback becomes a real task. We prefer many small improvements that solve real problems over waiting to bundle one big update.
